Here is a famous test that is circulating on the Internet, but probably dates back to the pre-Internet era. Few people can answer all the questions in it. Correct answers assume the presence of observation and deductive abilities that only a few of us possess.
Look at the following picture:

A nice outing in nature, right? But there’s more information hidden in this image than you might think! Concentrate and try to answer the following questions:
Scroll down for the answers.

2. The tourists arrived a few days ago – the tent can’t catch a cobweb for hours:

3. The tourists arrived by boat – we hope the oars leaning against the tree have not escaped your careful gaze:

4. The nearest town or village seems to be quite close – otherwise where would the chicken in the lower left come from? Watermelons also don’t grow in the wild, and it’s inconvenient to carry them from a distance.

5. The wind is blowing from the south – note the direction of the flag on the tent, as well as the long branches of the trees on the leeward side. It is known that tree branches are longer on their south side.

6. The time of day is morning. Since, as we have established, the wind blows from the South, the viewer’s point of view is from the East – when looking from East to West, the south direction is on the observer’s left side. The boy’s shadow points to the West and is long, which means that the sun is behind the observer, i.e. in the East, and is not high above the horizon, which means it is morning.

7. Alex is definitely out butterfly hunting. The question assumes he is not at the camp and is not in the picture:

8. Colin was on duty yesterday. Now he’s rummaging through his backpack while James takes pictures – we see his camera tripod in his backpack, marked “J”. Alex, we understand, is out butterfly hunting. Obviously, all three of them are not doing anything useful for the group. This means that the boy with the ladle who is cooking is Peter and he is on duty. If we look at the schedule hanging on the tree, we will see that before Peter, Colin was on duty.

9. If we look at the tree graph again, we see that today is clearly the 8th, since Peter is on duty.
10. We are in the midst of summer – August. The watermelon season…
